Our Discover phase encourages clients to talk us through what their time at home looks like, help us to understand what's important to them and their family so that we can tailor a bespoke solution for them.

In this home that included wired and wireless connectivity to support anything from homework to simply following the latest social media trend, lighting which provides effortless and automatic control over the mood and ambience of every space, and entertainment options that provided freedom over how to use and enjoy time at home.

A practical approach to technology

SONA excel at identifying ways in which technology can enhance your time at home - not only by adding features, but by being just as aware of daily chores that can take away feelings of rest, relaxation and luxury.

With this property, the sheer logistics of opening and closing manual curtains or blinds in a home of this size, was identified during our initial conversations with the client and meant that automation of the window treatments brought tangible benefit and offered real value, removing what so could easily have become a chore and diluted the sense of luxury that this home naturally provides.

Entertainment for every occasion

Rather than just one main television or entertaining space, this home features numerous areas that allow each member of the family to enjoy amazing entertainment at the push of a button.

Access to multiple satellite television channels and the latest streaming services in different rooms simultaneously allows each member of the family to enjoy what they want, when and where they want without restrictions.
Equally when entertaining, rooms can be grouped to play the same music or video throughout.

From music in the dining room and around the outdoor pool area, to three separate media spaces, all featuring discrete surround systems.

Magical room transformation

When we were first introduced to this project, a dedicated cinema room was shown in the basement, but after conversations with the family it became clear they wanted a more communal space, that felt connected to the main areas of the home.

We therefore designed a system that allows the light drenched family room to transform from a casual TV lounge into a incredible cinema space, with a huge screen hidden into the SONA designed front wall cabinetry, blackout blinds to the windows and skylight and a projector hidden behind a bespoke art piece.

SONA designed and installed a complete installation comprising network, audio and video systems, cinema and lighting.
The system provides amazing quality, entertainment and communication which is used by all the family.
I have found Simon and his team to be completely reliable, professional and they resolve issues promptly.
