We worked alongside Lewis Knox Interiors on this inspiring barn conversion, providing lighting, connectivity, audio video and security blended seamlessly into the fabric of the building.

Barn Conversion Transformed: Bespoke Interiors, Media, and Lighting Integration

We were commissioned to reimagine this recently purchased barn conversion, creating a home that perfectly reflects our clients’ lifestyle, tastes, and love for nature. As animal lovers with a deep connection to the surrounding countryside, they wanted an interior that felt warm, welcoming, and functional — while incorporating modern technology seamlessly into the rustic charm of the property.

Designing Technology within Nature Inspired Interiors

Our team designed and installed custom media walls that blend seamlessly with the interiors, balancing functionality and aesthetic appeal. Each media wall is integrated with AV systems for music, movies, and gaming, ensuring the technology enhances rather than dominates the spaces.

Across the home, lighting was layered and carefully programmed, both inside and outdoors, highlighting architectural features, creating mood, and accentuating furniture and art.

Reviving the Annexe

The previously neglected annexe was transformed into a multi-functional, luxury retreat. Working closely with the main contractor, we upgraded it to modern standards, incorporating:

Purpose-built gym and ensuite with all the latest tech
Dedicated golf simulator room with bar
Media wall with AV integration
Smart lighting and climate control

The result is a space where every need is met within the home, from fitness and entertainment to relaxation and daily living — all enhanced by thoughtful lighting and AV integration.

Outdoor Media Wall and Lighting

The real showstopper of this project is the breathtaking views across the Cheshire hills. Our design philosophy was simple: never compete with the panorama. Instead enhance it. Robert Hughes created a stunning created a stunning Oak and Cedar pavilion which features an outdoor media wall, audio throughout the landscaped grounds and beautiful lighting throughout - any time of the day or year, this space can be enjoyed! This project was a double award winner at the BALI National Landscape Awards 2024 and is a finalist at the SGD Awards 2025, watch this space! Well done Robert and Team!
