NEWS: SONA Wins Best Integrated Home at CEDIA 2018

You heard it here first… if you live in the North West, you officially have access to some of the best companies in the world when it comes to kitting out your luxury home with the world’s best integrated technology.

On  27th September 2018 at an awards evening under the stars, over 400 industry experts gathered at The British Museum in London, to witness a spectacular awards ceremony presented by Ultimate Tech Geek, The Gadget Show’s Jason Bradbury.

SONA were thrilled to be awarded for producing the Best Integrated Home – not only Best Integrated Home in the region, or the UK, but in fact for the entire EMEA region covering Europe, Middle East and Africa for the category £230,000 – £340,000.

SONA were up against stiff competition from fellow luxury integrators from around the world, but bought the award back home to Cheshire for their work on a beautiful luxury home based in Chester.

CEDIA has nearly 3700 members worldwide, but when it comes to the history of the prestigious CEDIA Awards, Cheshire-based SONA are one of the top 3 most highly awarded, commended and shortlisted companies across Europe, The Middle East & Africa regions.

In addition, SONA were nominated for another 4 awards that evening, demonstrating the level of consistent quality across the board in regards to all SONA installs, being the only European company to be shortlisted for ‘Best Home Cinema, Level 1’ for a private home cinema created for a client in Knutsford Cheshire.

THE CEDIA Awards are considered the most prestigious accolade in the industry and even the entry process can take weeks to complete.  The awards are judged anonymously by a panel of experts who go through a rigorous process to ensure that only the best projects even get Finalist status.
